Following the directives of HSE Integrated policy, Jabeeb Consult Limited. implement this Occupational health policy by conducting the following principles:
- Establishment and strengthening of Occupational Health Services by providing the support and other infrastructures needed for the development of multidisciplinary activities and ensuring the availability of relevant occupational health specialists through the engagement of a retainer clinic and expert services upon need.
- Development of an Occupational Health Program including all work activities, establishing support by relevant health professionals and encouraging active participation of all line managers and employees.
- Embrace the effect of occupational health on work, bearing in mind that good Occupational Health practice should address the Fitness of the task for the employee.
- Development of Occupational Health model based on Health Risk Assessment, adopting a basic set of standards to be used as criteria for the evaluation and limit values for occupational exposures, including chemical, physical, biological, ergonomic and psychosocial factors.
- Promotion of healthy work environment by carrying out surveys representative of all workplaces and occupations, examining the occurrence, distribution and levels of occupational health hazards and thus prioritizing main problems on specific Health Surveillance Programs with clear objectives for reduction and prevention of main hazards at work that lead to severe occupational diseases. At the same time, jointly monitor the management of Sickness Absence and Rehabilitation.
- Provision of guidance in healthy work Practices and Promotion of Health at Work, contributing in this way to reinforce working capacity, health education, information/promotion campaigns and healthy lifestyles among the working population.
- Establishment of registration, development and analysis of reliable data for the establishment of trends as well as recognition of priorities at general and local levels in order to make decisions on occupational health practices and raising of employees’ awareness through public information.
