Alcohols & Drugs Policy

Conscious of the injurious effects and the danger arising from the abuse of Psychoactive Drug and Alcohol and its implication on the execution of work in a safe form, in addition to their other adverse effects with respect to the efficiency and productivity of workers, Jabeeb Consult Limited has prohibited the following conduct.

  • Coming to work under the influence of alcohol.
  • The use, possession distribution or sale of controlled drugs not prescribed by a Doctor and hallucinogenic substances that generate dependency while at work within the Companies’ premises and/or during the execution of any official activities where Jabeeb Consult Limited staff or their contractor are at work.

The violation of any of the above constitutes a serious offence that may result in disciplinary action being taken against the offending staff.
In line with Jabeeb Consult Limited activities in the promotion of Health, Safety and Security at work, Jabeeb Consult Limited encourage any staff who considers that he has problems of alcohol or drugs dependency, to participate in the treatment and rehabilitation programs which will commit the worker to follow treatment in a fast and appropriate form. This is to prevent such a problem from becoming an obstacle to adequate performance.
The Company reserve the right to carry out tests while attending to cases of industrial accidents related to Drugs use or Alcohol abuse.
